I, personally didn't think it was thaaaaat bad. Apparently my thoughts are darker than I thought. I only used blue and green floodlights. That seems to make a world of difference. Heh, Heh, Heh. It worked!

Many thanks to my brother for taking us to Gord Downies house in the county. Lol. He wasn't home, so he didn't chase us with a shotgun which is what I would do if I were rich and famous. 

Well, Quinner is a relative of his so I best be nice to him. He sounds like a nice guy, unlike that dick Dallas Green. Which I have heard was approached in a bar and a guy offered to buy him a beer and he referred to himself in the third party and refused the beer. 

Henceforth I shall be known as "That Halloween Guy", or "Creeper Guy", or "Ken" or other derivatives which you seem fit. Which I'm sure everyone has their own name for me.

Allan Smith

Not that I knew Allan well, cousins by marriage, he was what you think of when you think of the east coast. The epitome of a true maritimer, , a character, a good soul. The first of our generation sadly. He will be missed and remembered.

Allan Michael Smith (October 23, 1958 - October 18, 2011)  Smith, Allan Michael – 52 of Dartmouth, passed away October 18, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Oct 23, 1958 in Halifax, NS. He was the son of John and Isabel (Gilliss) Smith. Allan worked as a longshoreman local 269 from 1974 to 2011. Allan had many passions: his dog Stoker, Eastern Passage, his boat house, his antique bottle collecting, Kings Wharf, and salvaging. He took it upon himself to help maintain Sullivans pond and look after the geese there (He was also known as “The Goose Whisperer”). He spent many hours cleaning the beachers on MacNabs Island, shovelling grain spills at the waterfront and donating it to both Hope for Wildlife, and the Shubienacadie Wildlife park. He loved Halifax and Dartmouth and it's history. Allan is predeased by grandparents Sarah and Fred Smith, and Freda and William Gilliss. He is survived by his daughter Sarah whom he dearly loved and was very proud of, friends Connie Donavan and children Becky, Dylan, and Destiny. Sisters Judy (Mark, Emily and Julia Nickerson - Hubley), Christa (Rick Eddy - Mahone Bay), Donna (Mike, Bradley, Bryan, Evan Rafuse - Prospect), Angela (Jon, Laura Griffin – Dartmouth), and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has already taken place. At Allan's request a family only memorial will be held at a later date. We would like to thank his family, and many friends who visited him and lifted his spirits during his illness. Special thanks to Joanne, and Barry and Alison, 7A Pallative Care Unit VG, Dr. P. Surprised they haven't designed a backpack type oxygen tank, because that thing hanging off their shoulder will throw their balance off, they'll break a hip or cause spine or shoulder problems.
